RHINOPLASTY SURGERY

Rhinoplasty surgery, often referred to as nose reshaping, is a procedure in which nasal bone and cartilage is re-sculpted to attain a desired shape. Depending upon the nature of the correction required during rhinoplasty surgery, the procedure may either be performed from within the nose through small incisions inside the nostrils or through a small incision across the columella, the vertical strip of tissue separating the nostrils.

After rhinoplasty surgery, a plaster cast is applied to reduce swelling and help the nose achieve its new shape. Any pain or discomfort following rhinoplasty surgery is usually very minimal and can be alleviated with mild pain medication. Most rhinoplasty patients can resume normal activities about a week after their surgery.
